Seriously delicious wine and at roughly $25 retail, a heck of a bargain. Black cherry, blackberry, cassis, dried herbs, forest floor and violet. Acidity well balanced with the fruit and medium tannin. This is just lovely and not overly heavy. If you find a lot of Cabernet Sauv’s overheated for summer this is your antidote. Pretty deep , almost opaque , thin rim . Quite wild , dried herbs , touch of rounded red fruits . More fruit on the palate , quite ripe red fruits , quite soft but fine , nice balanced acidity . Slightly warm. Quite good length though quite dry finish . Nice now , wouldn’t want to leave this too much longer however . — 3 years ago
