Fruit forward and jammy. With Easter dinner: Manicotti and Pizza Rustica — 5 years ago

Medium body, abundant legs, pale white. Apricot, honeysuckle and apple cider on the nose. Juicy pit fruit on the fore palate, scant sweetness, with a lingering peach compote on the finish. (Bacon wrapped pork tenderloin medallions on a bed of mixed green salad with beets, cucumber, and Gorgonzola, chicken- broccoli Alfredo over pasta rustica on the side) — 3 years ago
Nice starter wine for my birthday dinner/evening. Just a classic BdM all around. At first that funk that blew off after about an hour. Then earth, dark berry, leather. This righteous wine was a perfect complement to my wife’s bolognese and my Filetto Al Gorgonzola that was cooked to perfection at our fav little Italian spot, La Rustica. Lisini delivers yet again. — 6 years ago
Fresh, bright, paired perfectly with tarte flambee at Cafe Rustica! — 8 years ago
Subtle pears on the nose. Crisp with notes of apple, hints of pineapple, and lemon zest on the fore palate. Complex, Medium, smooth finish - after an hour of decanting the mouth feel became a little buttery. (Chicken & shiitake mushroom Alfredo over rustica pasta for a pleasant Wednesday evening dinner on a frigid January night) we purchased this at the vineyard during our Napa vacation- September 2016 — 3 years ago
more fruit forward then any other Cab Franc from the Finger Lake. A new favorite for me. — 7 years ago
