Awesome super Tuscan. Really wish I had more but it was absolutely fantastic, funky and fruity with some killer Argentinian steak at Tango Sur. — 6 years ago
My last bottle from this winery. It was the first winery I ever visited. This was the right time to drink this bottle. Still fresh with nice fruit. — 8 years ago

2011. Very smooth — 8 years ago
All the dark fruit. Cinnamon. Mild tannins. Definitely needs to open a bit, but really nice. — 2 years ago
I can’t rave more about a 7 year old Tuscan merlot. Soft, gentle with generous fruit while showing acidic balance, light tannins and an unmistakable peppery, cigar box aroma. — 3 years ago
Vignamaggio Monna Lisa Chianti Classico. Had to try this because I am a big fan of Leonardo da Vinci. That usually doesn’t end well as a reason to choose wine, but this time it lived up to the name! It’s earthy on the nose with a juicy red fruit palate. Perfect for tomato sauce on pizza, or pasta. Deliciously smooth and full bodied. This wine is well worthy of the classic art on its label. — 7 years ago

Just a classic CCR. Nose developing nice tertiary notes but still has some beautiful macerated wild cherry fruit. Loads of savory and mineral notes on the palate, which has very good flavor concentration in a medium bodied frame. Textbook and so nicely balanced. — 9 days ago
