BIG!!! Intense purple color. Old vine (70 Years+) Tempranillo. Very fruit forward and almost New World in style. Aromas of ripe black fruit, violets, rose hips and vanilla. Same ripe black cherry/berry flavors with hints of dark chocolate and coffee. Spicy vanilla on the long finish. Silky tannins. Quite interesting. Even better the second day. Color of ruby with grapefruit and purple tone on the rim, quite clear. Nose of immense cherry, spice, fermented cabbages, and strength of alcohol. Taste of warmth, a bit watery, spice, black pepper, subtle sweetness and acidity from dark fruits, and some more black pepper.
