Color of ruby with grapefruit and purple tone on the rim, quite clear. Nose of immense cherry, spice, fermented cabbages, and strength of alcohol. Taste of warmth, a bit watery, spice, black pepper, subtle sweetness and acidity from dark fruits, and some more black pepper. Aftertaste shows some zesty note, soft tannins, and a bit medicinal note.

Blackberries with hints of cherries, raspberries, and dried strawberries. Also a little bit of herbs, forest floor, and earth. Nicely balanced acidity, low-ish tannins. It’s also a good value (extra point).

Jun 8th, 2019Spicy with hints of pepper and tobacco. Also taste hints of cherry. It actually reminds me of a Malbec, which makes sense coming from the Perdriel, Lujan de Cuyo in Mendoza.

Dec 21st, 2018Color of clear purple. Nose of spicy alcohol, a bit chocolate, fermented cabbage, cherry jam, and medicinal note. Taste is round, silky, and like concentrated Pinot Noir with nice berry and cherry note, peppery, good alcohol content, marginal tannins, and good acidity. Aftertaste is medium long, savory with really no pitfall. Good.
