Soft, supple tannins with bright acidity round out the finish. Excellent red blend. $24.00 — 5 years ago
Pretty decent, not amazing. — 6 years ago
Excellent hot weather Chardonnay in taste, but this is 14.5% ABV...it packs a punch. Dry with a minimum of diacetyl. — 8 years ago

OMG! What an amazing tasting bottle! Big cherry. Black currants. Full-bodied. Elegantly smooth with a long finish. A hell of a beauty! Only one bottle! :-( — 10 years ago
Viansa ‘Samuele’ 2005: Medium-Full bodied. Excellent balance & finesse. Well integrated acidity & tannins. Blackberry. Black currant. Plum. Vanilla. Oak. Long smooth finish. An excellent & robust Sonoma County Cab Franc blend that is still bright after 17 years. Glad I was able to unbottle & share this beauty. Great day to all! Cheers🍷 — 4 years ago
Very light, smooth. Mineral and citrusy main notes. Almost a anise/licorice aftertaste. Will buy again. — 6 years ago

Consumed 06/2016. Pierina Means "made of stone" which is an apt name for a wine made from the Vernaccia grape. Vernaccia is native to the hills surrounding San Gimignano in Tuscany, where it is typically crafted to display flinty, almost mineral flavors. As the only producer of Vernaccia in the United States, Viansa has chosen to take this greap in a different direction. The result is a more multi-dimensional, fruity style of wine that still stays true to its origins. 'Pierina' Vernaccia is an absolutely wonderful wine crafted entirely from estate grown Carneros grapes. — 10 years ago
Viansa ‘V’ Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2005: Big. Bold. Balanced. Sophisticated soft tannins courtesy of time however the cork did break & crumble (as expected). Palate flavors of black fruits, vanilla, oak and an oh so smooth finish. After 16 years, glad to see this wine held up nicely and tasted amazingly delicious! A very memorable wine definitely worth the wait. Cheers🍷 — 5 years ago

Dark red, balanced fruit, mild tannin and acidity with a long pleasing finish. Great wine with pasta. — 9 years ago
M ruby. Black cherry and berry. Mushroom and baking spice. Violet. Great nose that has more umami then fruit. M acid and body. M- tannin. The wine still has good structure with a M finish. Nicely balanced. Honestly did not think the bottle could age this long. — 10 years ago
