Send off dinner for a close friend who is moving to Leeds, England tomorrow. We shared this wine at the greatest dinner of our lives at Asador Etxebarri outside of Bilbao, Spain, so I thought it would be a great addition to his send off dinner. Extremely complex wine. Heavy notes of Dried dates and porcini mushrooms with a finish full of fresh rosemary, cherries macerated in balsamic vinegar and fresh cracked pepper. — 6 years ago
