Unfortified sherry deliciousness. Apple cider/skin, olive brine, saline, almonds. Near perfection. — 5 years ago
Candied apricot, leather, dates, shoe polish nose, broad, bright palate w a nice acid snap. So it’s rich, 21°, but refreshing.
A wonder of the bodegas.

This wine is fascinating! This is dry white Palomino that would normally be used to make Sherry. Lacking any primary fruit, I would guess sake if smelling blind. Some slight elegant aroma of wood/spice. This might be the best ringer at a master Somm tasting ever. Absolutely unique. — 8 years ago
100% Palomino from the estate’s plots on a mixture of albariza soils in the Callejuela vineyard in Pago Hornillo (Sanlúcar), Pago Añina and the famous Macharnudo vineyard in Jerez. Fermented in stainless steel and aged for an average of 5 years in oak. Medium intensity nose. Clean, fresh, mineral, saline. Nice bitterness — 3 years ago
