Just great. Vigorous on the pallet with lots of tantalizing dark fruits, spice, and cedar. Every sip a delight! — 4 months ago

Creamier than a sauv blanc. Tropical fruits, very nice acids. Pairing well with creamy appetizers. — 5 months ago

From the collection. Wish I would have drank about six months ago, it’s started to mellow out a bit more than I expected. — 2 months ago

So warm and inviting. It’s big and high alcohol but somehow not excessive at all. Wonderful texture. Warm spicy aromas, dark plum, cherry and cola. Very nice ! — 9 months ago

Feel like I might have to turn here with Saxum price increases…

@Shay A it’s so funny that people often think they’re two in the same but honestly the turtle rock wines are way more lifted and elegant compared for saxum which is so velvety and full throttled. I like the richness and excessiveness of saxum and sometimes I prefer the more nuanced and bright turtle rock

@Alex Lallos : I don’t disagree. I enjoy both. But, I’d be lying if I said I enjoyed Saxum just as much now at $135/bottle versus when they were $95/bottle last year.

Juniper Estate

Juniper Crossing Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2017

Bought this as an afterthought and quite pleased that I did. It's complex and rich, with blackcurrant/plum fruit, cedary oak and soft tannins all on the same page. Great value. — 3 years ago
