Tudor Vineyard, new vintage, 266 cases made. Light salmon pink color, excellent clarity. Strawberry and stone fruit aromas. Peachy flavors with hints of strawberry, skin astringency with length on finish, reminding me of peach fuzz with nectarine flavors. Really nice. Paired with baked salmon, cayenne new potatoes and stir fry cabbage. For the PNW, almost perfect — 4 years ago
Wow. Aged extremely well. Incredible body for a Pinot. Simply awesome. Unfortunately, my last 2007. — 7 years ago
Had the best lunch outdoor at rr restaurant. Had whites during lunch and tried this afterwards. Brought one bottle home and now bummed. It is so good and not listed on their website so will need to figure out how to get more! — 9 years ago
I’m an East coast Jersey girl hanging on the Pacific Northwest for the week, staying in Olympic National park for the next two days. I’m drinking only local wines and headed to vineyards later this week. I love this wine because of where I am, otherwise I’d just like it. Xo — a year ago
Mulled fruit done in a Burgundian style. Smokey and full bodied. — 7 years ago
Dried cherry and dark fruit nose. On the palate it is silky with subdued acid that shines in the finish. More tannic than most SLH pinots. — 8 years ago
Perfect. White peaches without excessive sweetness. Smooth, fine, and very laid back — 3 years ago
Juicy and a little spicy — 5 years ago
At 40 barrels, this generic SLH Pinot Noir is actually a big SLH release for the Salinas based Tudor wines. Presented in a screw top bottle, the nose is cooked cherry. The palate gets silky smooth cherry, strawberry, and minerals. A chewy finish with moderate acid. Nothing flashy, but a very solid wine that performs well solo or matched with lighter foods. — 7 years ago
