At 40 barrels, this generic SLH Pinot Noir is actually a big SLH release for the Salinas based Tudor wines. Presented in a screw top bottle, the nose is cooked cherry. The palate gets silky smooth cherry, strawberry, and minerals. A chewy finish with moderate acid. Nothing flashy, but a very solid wine that performs well solo or matched with lighter foods.
