Sans has pulled off a triple axle—good canned red, good zin and good natural zin. It is spice. It is red. It is fun and it somehow speaks to being...wholesome? I feel ❤️ — 5 years ago
Holding up well. Very smooth and awesome initial blackberry hints, solid finish to access N Y strip steak tonight. — 7 years ago

Monday Night Football and N honest, organic Côtes du Rhône. The name means “bit of licorice” and it fits. Licorice is present in the nose, along with deep iodiney earthiness and dark blackberry skin fruit. Loads of gutsiness in the mouth. Good structure even though the acids are a tad lower than I ideally would like. Still, this is more enjoyable to me than the vast majority of blowsy 15% CDPs out there at triple to quadruple the price (I think this was somewhere south of $15).

Pop n pour.
Sweet nose of cherrycoke and caramel macchiato.
On the palate the cherries and vanilla prevail. Medium bodied, some acidic freshness in the midpalate. Tannines? No sir. This is smooth and silky.
Quite simple, bordering on monolithic, yet tasty and delicious.
