Freemark Abbey

Sycamore Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

Everything is all there. The tannins are a little too dominant at this point. Needs a few more years to mellow out. Your patience will be rewarded. — a month ago

Abbey Ridge Pinot Noir 2019

Giving this another big score. 3 hr decant and this is bringing a nose of darker fruits. Wine is brooding and big without any forest floor going on. Acidity and tannin round out great weight and tautness. Drank alongside chicken parm. Delish — 4 months ago

Freemark Abbey

Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc

Light notes of grapefruit and lemon. Flavor ends smoothly on the palate. It’s not too dry, which what I usually prefer for sipping. It was actually well received among a company of 12. The bottle was finished in about 20 minutes with compliments all around. — 6 months ago

Battaglione Barbera d'Asti 2021

Located halfway up the hill dominating the principal valley of Barolo, supported by steep slopes lined by orderly vineyards, lies the 15th century Abbey of Annunziata. Deep Ruby with aromas of ripe berry fruits and pepper spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and strawberry, lively spice, well balanced with savory fine tannins on a medium+ finish ending with mineral character. Nice value! — 4 months ago
