Taught and restrained, especially considering Beaune in 2015. Solid texture with red fruit, pleasant acidity, and a soft mineral edge. — 4 years ago
Fast becoming one of my favorite producers in Burgundy. His higher-end offerings are stellar, but this wine has a supernatural QPR at $32. If you can find the 2015, buy it. The 2014 of this Chorey was tasty as well, and the Beaune-Toussaints 1er Cru was simply amazing. Everything you'd want in a fruit-forward but balanced Burgundy. — 6 years ago
Wow! I heard about this Syrah from a friend. Tried it at Santa Barbara Night Market. Hard to find but well worth the effort. — 6 years ago

The most beautiful rose potpourri. This would be great perfume. The palate is a bit compressed, but this still has surprising life for an 85. — 3 years ago
