This has developed a bit more complexity on the nose since my last taste a year ago. Red cherry and blackberry followed by incense, black tea, vanilla, and a bit forest floor and hint of smoked meat, then the lovely cherry note resurfaced. Well balanced with acidic and tanning structures for further aging. What a value! — 9 days ago

New to me and surprisingly good balanced aged red from Portugal. Still fresh and tingly texture after ripe black and red fruits on nose and good finish. Drank well for four days in Eto. — a month ago

Dense Ruby, almost black. A contained nose to begin with - after time in decanter notes of liqueur cherries. Good grip - a serious wine from Steve Pannell who does really well with alternative varieties. Great with home made Pizza. — 6 days ago
