This really is the king of plum porters.
Titanic's is the one that sets the bar and the one I come back to again whilst also comparing with others.
It is lovely and dark with plum aromas and a good head. Tastewise, it is a solid dark malted porter and a full plum flavour that blends but does not overpower.
It is a fine beer drinkable any month of the year. — 2 years ago
Comment later. Whoa! RP says "this dense ruby/purple wine has a stunningly pure bouquet of dark fruit, wet rocks, graphite, and subtle background toast/vanillin. Full-bodied, masculine, and very deep and concentrated, this titanic effort is at least 8-10 years away from its plateau of maturity." And I say this juicy berry is ready for duck, venison, and beef stew now. — 5 years ago
Good god! That is one of the largest Petite's I have ever had, it I spot on, large marge, large and in charge, tannic like titanic it will sink your ship! — 8 years ago

Napa Cab from the time the Titanic movie was released. Decanted for more than four hours, the color is slightly faded, turning brown. The nose is very thigh initially but opens up beautifully to dry tobacco and tart cherry. On the pallet it is alive and canny with old leather and hints of wild red berries; slightly acidic but very composed. Worth the wait and a treat. — 4 years ago

A superb plum porter. This beer is dark with a fine plum aroma. Lightly carbonated with a good Guinness like head. Titanic's beers are both appreciated and sought-after by beer drinkers in their native Stoke-on-Trent and wider afield, and for me, their Plum Porter is their finest brew. — 2 years ago
