WOTN!!! Truly in a great, great place right!
A phenomenal Bordeaux showing everything that I adore: pencil shavings, granite minerality , gorgeously integrated and a 90+ second finish. The only thing missing to make this a perfect 10 is my good friend @Ron R sitting next to me enjoying the bottle that he gifted to Christine & I!!
You are a stud my friend! In the spirit of friendship this was shared and enjoyed with a few of my great friends: @Drew feinberg and Bill Wachter. Come to Think of it, I think my friend Brandon may have had a glass of this as well? I’m sure they will all add their own tasting notes shortly. @brandon brandon
Im not sure what we traded in order for me to get this bottle but I am 100% certain that you received the short end of the stick!!!!!
I’ll make it up to you, 🙌👏👏👏🙌. — 6 years ago
Excellent. A little sour, full in mouth. — 4 years ago
Een wijn met een bescheiden geur, maar een kraakhelder minerale smaak. Luchtig en fris voor een rosso, weinig zwoel en haast 'crisp' te noemen. Thom was er gek van. Mooi voor los, of bij een licht voorgerecht. — 6 years ago
Drank this one right after the last glass Wachter Wieslers bela joska Eisenberg 2013. Man it is really quite the same. Must be the terroir, slightly different but i cant describe that :). Really earthy, grippingly mineralic, dark cherry paired with flashy red sour cranberry, peppery. I love Blaufränkisch and Eisenbergs geological preferences, dont know what it is exactly, but its good. Biodynamic handcare. Great elegant and complex stuff for this price segment. Uwe Schiefer had some bad luck in late times. So drink his god damn good wines! — 8 years ago
Lean & mineral, with quite high acidity, the typical iron streak and black fruit coming last. Herby and with a meaty, wet fur tone, too. Not bad. — 6 years ago
This is the Chardonnay you wish you could find and give to your friends who say they hate Chardonnay. Scratch that, this wine is too good and rare for them. A waft of smoke, grated lemon zest, and yellow apple. Share it with your dearest dinner companions. We paired it with baby octopus, gnocchi in thom ka, and a selection of creamy cheeses. — 7 years ago
From Jim L - Christmas. Even I like this beer! Thom and Nate really enjoyed it. Coriander flavor was not overbearing v — 9 years ago

Excellent Blaufränkisch starting with cherry and finishing strong with bell peppers. Perfect for Goulash. — a month ago
