Nice fragrance. Good balance on finish. Great with pasta and ravioli as you would expect. August 2022. — 2 years ago
Deep ruby color.
Aromas of dark fruit, floral, spice, tar.
Flavors of black cherry, rose, raspberry, peppercorn, tar, stewed black plum, hint of cured meat. Rich, chewy tannins. So much going on!

Some vanilla and oak, baking spice, cranberry, raspberry, brambles. From Penny’s, Provincetown. 06/29/24 — 6 months ago
Dark fruit, some leather, graphite. Fresh, nice acid with good grip. Beautiful mouth feel. Really like this one. — 2 years ago
Very nice wine. Deep. Peary. Kinda fruity and dry both. Heady stuff — 3 years ago
This wine is quite dark in the glass. Its nose is powerful, loaded with dark notes like black cherry, tar, leather, and tobacco. The palate is just as dark, with brambly cherry and plum flavors and a heavy dose of earthy minerality. The finish fades more quickly than I would like, because a savory delight is left behind after the sip. I would have this with a lamb burger or Italian sausage and be very happy with the pairing. — 3 months ago
Very floral, medium bodied, very easy to drink. Had at Borolo for bday dinner! — 2 years ago
About 50/50 Perracone and Nero d'Avola.
Dark violet. Red currant and sour pie cherries, some dried fruit leather aspect to the fruit.
A bit more structured, but still very fine grained an approachable. From higher elevation vineyards that contributes to finesse. — 2 years ago

This wine is dark red in the glass, almost indigo. On the nose, the savory notes jump out first. Tar, spice, cedar and cigars combine for a superior olfactory presentation. The palate brings black fruit and savory notes together, as plum and blackberry meld with earth, leather and tobacco for a formidable display. The tannins are medium firm, which is great for sipping and functional for pairing with a pan fried pork chop. — 19 days ago
