About 50/50 Perracone and Nero d'Avola.
Dark violet. Red currant and sour pie cherries, some dried fruit leather aspect to the fruit.
A bit more structured, but still very fine grained an approachable. From higher elevation vineyards that contributes to finesse. — 4 years ago
Liked more than expected, normally not a Nero d' avola fan but this is well made — 6 days ago
Blend of Inzolia, Graciano, Grecanico and Chardonnay. Dark straw color. Love the “Rhenish-style” bottle. Aromas of applesauce, white flowers and chalk. Zesty lemon/lime and intense mineral notes on the palate with hints of unripe peach, apricot, cantaloupe and honey. Medium-body and finish with crisp/bracing acidity. Viscous texture. Fresh and vibrant! — a year ago
Had some shipped back from our trip to Sicily. This one is a stunner!!! Oh so good! — 4 years ago
Give it 3-4 yrs. Bold and not quiet ready. Can see the potential — 5 years ago
Another solid vintage of this interesting Sicilian rose’. Dark fuchsia color with orange and copper highlights. Aromas of ripe red berries, rose petals and orange zest. There is also a bit of a funky/sour aroma that quickly blows off. Flavors of sour cherry and strawberry fruit, blood orange and minerals. Long and crisp finish with a creamy texture. Zippy acidity and well balanced. Bold and quite food friendly. — a month ago

Approximately 50/50 Nero d’Avola and Perricone which is a beautiful blend! High in acidity, quite tannic and plenty of red fruit. Also a “rustic” touch. Everything is still a bit on its own but after some additional cellartime this wine should be stellar! — 4 years ago

Dark, intense, nose of blackberry and cedar cigar box. Fruity, big, bold wine, with some hearty but approachable tannins. Don’t often drink Nero D’avola, but I’ll get more of this. — 6 days ago
