@Todd Abrams this is a stud. Probably committed wineacide. Still many years ahead. Thanks brother!! — 8 years ago

Thibault Liger Belair is a stud!! He has a sweet first name and he knows how to make wine. Had the pleasure of sharing a few with @Todd Abrams. Awesome. — 8 years ago
Young @Joe Lucca being a stud. Primary but pure. — 9 years ago
Real deal Holyfield...@Eric S thank you Sir for sharing this bottle with me. My first time but not the last. I get this big rush of smoked meats and dried strawberries on the nose with secondary hint of alcohol that blows off. Rich and lush on entry; no sign on tannins, integrated well. Mouth coating flavors yet light and bright. This stud has none of green herbaceous element. Hot charcoal, coulis and currant paste fill the palate. Ends with slight cigar box and dusty road. Wonderful. @Eric S thanks again! — 9 years ago

A sort of apricot forward, light frizzy marmalade herb, rosemary, mint bouquet. It’s subtle and almost graceful like a swan’s dance on the surface of water.
Love, love the unapologetic nature of the bubbles and effervescence. It’s the grand entrance to the ballroom. The backless gown that says I’m here because this party would not exist without me, or at least it would not be as great or fun or story-worthy. These are the jeans that are too tight, the pocket square that doesn’t match, the polka dot socks, the nose stud on the guy that’s got the best suit in the house, and just makes the whole damn thing work.
Drink it. Love it. Tell everyone.
Peach soda, light to medium body, umami and the tart sweetness of a ripe mango. Every magnetic sip bursting with pure discovery and, most of all, the thing people forget in high culture, regular old fun. — 6 years ago
WOTN!!! Truly in a great, great place right!
A phenomenal Bordeaux showing everything that I adore: pencil shavings, granite minerality , gorgeously integrated and a 90+ second finish. The only thing missing to make this a perfect 10 is my good friend @Ron R sitting next to me enjoying the bottle that he gifted to Christine & I!!
You are a stud my friend! In the spirit of friendship this was shared and enjoyed with a few of my great friends: @Drew feinberg and Bill Wachter. Come to Think of it, I think my friend Brandon may have had a glass of this as well? I’m sure they will all add their own tasting notes shortly. @brandon brandon
Im not sure what we traded in order for me to get this bottle but I am 100% certain that you received the short end of the stick!!!!!
I’ll make it up to you, 🙌👏👏👏🙌. — 8 years ago

This has so much friggin complexity for the modest $22 price point. For the Barolo fan and Barbaresco fan alike, this Nebbiolo over-delivers. The nose is so lovely and quite seductive - spiced dark chocolate, red licorice, cinnamon, brown sugar and clove. The palate is round but focused, high-toned cherry, floral notes, and more cinnamon baking spice. This is a stud. — 9 years ago
Really a beautiful merlot, great fruit and very approachable. Another great wine for Charles Smith. He is a stud! — 7 years ago
Way too soon for this stud of a wine, but I needed to compare it side by side with Cristal 08. Big, bold, in your face... lots of structure and acidity... notes of Apple core and lemon pith...best Dom I’ve had... but only showing glimpses of future glory. Sharing lots of nuance and notes with the Cristal... on this day the brooding power of the Dom came across a bit more dumb and slumbering. Patience required! — 7 years ago
Astounding amount of fruit for its age and it was still drinking well 90 minutes post pop. An enduring stud from @David L that was truly impressive. Not impressive in a “damn good for a 50 year old wine” way but just plain damn good. Resolved tannins, minimal bricking, palpable nose of violets, flavors of garrigue, bay leaf and bruised plum covered in damp earth. — 8 years ago

Say what you want about Michel Rolland, but this exudes sooooo much character and is becoming a secondary stud! Killer fruit profile with damp earthen elements at its core. Shares some of the same blue clay soils as it's neighbor (Chateau Petrus!). Thank you to Marcelo and Henri Parent for hosting me and my wife for our stay in Pomerol at the estate!!! — 8 years ago
Cloudy, substantial enjoyment. For me this has always been a with food SB. It’s not a pour in to your thermos and take to the beach wine. Props to gramps. Former 82nd airborne stud. Gone for 35 years but taught me that alcohol is not just about getting fucked up. — 9 years ago

Slight thickness but really balanced. A stud — 9 years ago
