Pale orange; earthy, orange peel, vanilla; sour orange, white flower, vanilla bean; long tart finish — 18 days ago
Inky deep purple; leather, violets, red spice (?!), blueberry on the nose; notrs of dried black cherry, olive, cinnamon, lightlyvearthy; smooth, not showy, great balanced acidity and long dusty warm tannins. Finish gives a subtle warming spiciness with no tart bite. Overall, warm glowing attractive and down to earth. Had it with pan-grilled polenta, with carrots, red and poblano peppers, baby onions, and broccolini - middle Asian spices and a bit of homemade marinara — 7 months ago

Dense dark ruby, nose of leather, spice, brambly berry. Depth and richness on the tongue, notes of spice, black cherry, bramble, cola. Lingering, prickly finish with effervesence and dark fruit.
Perhaps more balanced and mature than montgs ago, should continue to develop. — 7 months ago
