Medium deep pink moving toward reddish orange. Citrus melange aroma... orange, blood orange, sour key lime and pink grapefruit. Powerful weight on the palate but round and creamy in texture. The finish is awesome—long, sweet, savory, lasting almost a minute... with just the slightest hint of funky, cheesy forest-floor. Perfect foil for fresh broiled salmon with grilled broccoli and a Dijon cream sauce. So very glad I kept this wine so long before popping... far from over the hill.. could see enjoying the wine at 25 years. What a wonderful pink wine! — 4 years ago
A light to light medium body with a color of fresh straw, with a distinctive pale green hue to the edges, this was a perfect pairing for crawfish. Really good crisp, with notes of sour green apple, lemon or key lime rind, and pineapple on the nose. The taste is crisp with a beautiful acidity, mineral driven but tastes green as well, like underripe citrus, mango or melon, a fresh salinity, grassy and flower stems, with a mouth drying mineral finish. This was very refreshing, easy to drink, and a great substitute for a dry Riesling for Asian or spiced flavors. — 2 years ago
At wine socal, grapefruit, key lime. — 3 years ago
Very nice..mineral notes, floral, almost key lime. Smooth, balanced, surprisingly light mouth feel, a bit of tartness in the finish. — 4 years ago
Bright, pale straw in color. Brief white mousse and tiny, "frizzantini" bubbles. Abundant nose of white flowers, echoed on the light palate which adds overripe peach and red apple. Juicy acidity balances the fruity sweetness. A lingering finish rounds it out. Perfect standard bearer for the appellation that many try to imitate. Balance is key, making an excellent sipper or accompaniment to fresh fruit or spicy dishes (like my Voodoo pasta)! Drink now. — 2 years ago
Nose is wood, leather and hint of stone fruit. Taste is pepper, leather and oak. Not picking up much fruit maybe black cherries. Finish is dry oak. This one has been in the wine fridge for probably 4 years. — 3 years ago
A pre-dinner bottle while we do meal prep tonight.
Prior notes still apply:
Nose has lime zest, lime juice, green hay, wet granite/limestone pebbles, oxidized green apple peel, polyethylene tubing and tangerine peel.
Palate has Key lime flesh, cold tangerine slice, apricot skin, wet-pulverized limestone, lemongrass, tangerine zest, (minor) dried apricot and light honey on the medium finish, medium acid, great balance. — 4 years ago

This is a delicious, if not the most complex, Grenache. Very fruity nose has plummy, kirschy rhubarb, and a wee bit of stony minerality. Intense and soft in the mouth. Super-fine tannins add some structure but noticeable alcohol detracts a bit. Very nice with food. — a month ago
