This is a Pinot in a style that attracts me. It’s a clean fresh wine without over ripeness and jammy characters. A touch beautiful oak influence that support the elegant but still powerful fruit. Makes me think of wines from Charmes Chambertin!!! — 6 years ago
Very dense. White pepper meaty some petrol under. Strong floral. Dense strawberry flavors. Mid finish — 7 years ago
This is tasting great. It’s more ca style with baking spice, cranberry and cherry. Pretty great, the mouthfeel is silky. — 9 months ago
This is the first year that Billo Naravane has made this incredible wine. The Grenache entirely aged in natural oak while the Syrah saw 20% new oak before bottling. The wine is a stunning blend of 71% Grenache with 29% Syrah which was entirely sourced from the ‘SJR Vineyard’ in the Walla Walla Rocks AVA. Pretty red rose petals, red cherry candy and orange rind combine with shades of Hoisin sauce and Umami tones on this exotic nose. The palate is silky smooth with wonderful freshness and a great sense of elegance. The seamless effect on the mid-palate is nothing short of captivating, as is the exceedingly long finish that provides the crescendo. Vibrant and youthful, this beautiful wine will cellar well for another decade — but why wait? Drink 2020-2028- 96 — 6 years ago

Pinot like with cherry flavors but a bit bigger yet without big fruit or alcohol. Sounds like a non sequitur but it isn't. — 9 years ago
Outstanding! — a year ago
My husband and I ate mushroom ravioli with a rich mushroom sauce and roasted carrots. I added rosemary and lemon salt to the carrots and to the ravioli water to bring out the rosemary. The flavors melded well with this wine. I am so glad I chose this bottle for those nuances. Here’s to the delicate Pinot noir and Beaux Freres! — 6 years ago
Let’s call this the “come back” from Aubert. This being their regional bottling, it’s strong. Focused and precise with white flowers and hazelnuts on the nose. Honey and apricots on the palate, that left us in raptures. I know that Aubert and value could be considered a non sequitur, but here it works. I just purchased a load of this from the 17 vintage, and I’m thrilled after tasting this. — 7 years ago

This is one of the best Pinots I have ever tasted from Oregon. Fruit, acid, forest floor and tertiary notes all singing together. Stupendous!!! Can't wait to see how this will evolve over the years, if interested I can send you the wine. Cheers — 6 months ago
