Sweet and ripe fruit...black cherry, raspberry jam, with fresh squeezed blackberries (which I always pick up with this wine, and I attribute that to the decent percentage of Malbec in it). Good bit of licorice too. Quite silky and medium bodied on the palate...not as hefty as expected and definitely not as tannic/chalky as expected. Kiss of mint with raspberry infused dark chocolate with hardly any savory/herbal notes towards the finish. This seems totally open for business. — 11 days ago
Birthday celebration for @Cody Uzzel at Lucio’s with a bunch of friends. All wines (except sparklers) tasted blind.
First time trying J. Schram but certainly won’t be the last. This is some serious sparkling wine in keeping with many of Krug GC’s characteristics that I love so much. Rich and full in body with nougat, caramel, nutty milk chocolate, and caramelized brown sugar. Perfect way to kick off a killer dinner.

Method Traditionnelle vintage sparkling dry Rose made from Pinot Noir with a touch of Chardonnay for complexity. Lots of citrus fruits and lemon zest, white cherry, brioche, apricot. Very pretty blush color with nice zippy acidity and medium finish. — 15 days ago
Wow. Everlasting greatness! — a month ago
$120 direct from the winery, perhaps a riddlers circle shipment or maybe cellars club. I recently recycled all the fliers because I’m relocating so no flowery descriptions. Rather, I had a glass of the Blanc de Blanc at dinner last night and I’d be happier with that one compared to this one. For me, this one is not worth 4x the price and all the extra space it takes up in the fridge. — 20 days ago
Crisp, tart, bready on the nose. Nice on the porch. — a month ago
