Aromas and flavors of pears, unripe peach, green melon, roasted nuts, honey, white flowers, cream and beeswax. Light touch of oak on the long, slightly spicy and bold finish. Fresh, with crisp acidity. Beautifully balanced and nicely layered. Creamy texture. Outstanding quality! Wine of the night at the Luigi Bosca Tasting. Revisited in February 2025. Simply delicious. Easy drinking, plenty of red fruit, nice tannin structure from Cab. Tannins could mellow a few months more, but totally approachable now, mid-weight tannin. Being from one of my favorite regions, I find it hard to hold onto wines for long. — 4 years ago
