Honeysuckle, apricot, white peach — 8 months ago
It doesn’t get much better than this. A beautiful Rhone white blend. Aged better than expected. — 3 years ago
76 year old Marsanne and Roussane vines. I can think of several Hermitage Blancs that pale in comparison to Sorrel’s C-H blanc, this is a benchmark Rhône white to me. Full of unique aromas, textural, loaded with glycerol and tannin, deeply mineral and complex, begs for the table. Roasted nuts, smashed apricots, peach skin, Rainier cherry, ripe pear, yellow flowers, root vegetables, wet stones, aniseed and honey. Hoping I will be able to age some, but most likely will drink it all up. — 4 years ago
A note from last weekend at the Gold Coast. Initially too cool from the fridge so left it for 20 minutes. Mid to a deeper yellow in colour. Aromas of Apricot and Quince with a touch of honey. On the palate - quince, apricot, pear - a mouthful of deliciousness and a flavour explosion - low acid. Texturally it is unctuous with the blend being around 80% Roussane. These vines were planted nearly 100 years ago and comprise only 3 Hectares. Needless to say the quantities produced are small. Must locate more if I can find. In summary a stunning full bodied white wine. — 4 years ago

18 very special. Deep gold. Nose both floral and honeyed. Wonderful mouthfeel - coats palate. Perfect balance of fruit and acidity. Compares well with Le Meal blanc or Beaucastel blanc VV. — 3 years ago
