Stunning. Delicious. One of my fav wines of the last 1.5 years. Godello aged under flor that competes with white Burgundy/ Sonoma Coast chards that cost double. Sourced from two tiny plots of 80-100 yr old vines. 80% old foudre, 20% amphora under flor, no malo, no stirring. Sunny bouquet, honeycomb, Asian pear, gun flint, crushed stone, brisk, seamless, cool and classy. $55. — a month ago
Really lush bouquet of herbs and spices. Yields beautiful delicate fruit, but very lush and fragrant (strawberry, raspberry). Very well balanced and not overpowering. — 4 months ago
At dad’s birthday pasta night. Full flavor and dry but thick bodied. Favorite of the night — 3 months ago
Súper tanny, bold flavors, really like it! — 5 months ago
A lovely and bright nose -
Tempered honeysuckle -
This wine will straight up remind you of Pinot noir in many ways, yet also differs.
Light to medium bodied - bright cherry skin and fruit. Chompy fruit tannins mixed with sweet tart acidity , tons of saline and a fresh lip smack to bring up the end .
Dang, do I love this producer. — 7 months ago
