Plenty of fancy cursive script here on the label. Great dark inviting color. Smells a bit like rocks by the riverside. Fruit is pretty buried. Not the biggest nose here. Flavors of fresh cut wood, cherry-berry juice, and some spice. Savory pork bar-b-Q too. Fresh, bright and likable Temp. This is a nice bottle for a nice price. Could drink it anytime. — 4 years ago
Berries and oaky. Nice finish. Very good cab. Visited vineyard and peach orchard. The owners are lovely people. — 6 years ago
Absolutely what you want from an Aussie Shiraz. Huge fruit right up front and on the long finish - blackberries, currants, cherries, lemon curd. Some nice oaky notes in the middle. A little on the flabby side, but that comes with the territory. Drinkable now with decanting, might be better in a year or so, but not much longer. — 7 years ago

The Terrasse is a white blend that gets its name from Keermont’s terraced vineyards. It is a blend of Chenin Blanc from a 46 year old un-irrigated vineyard called 'Riverside' and is complimented by Chenin from two younger vineyards and varying fractions of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier.
The nose is a little shy. Cut grass, understated; lemon, lime, pineapple, green melon and white peach. Soft chalkiness & minerality, light saline, white & yellow flowers.
The body is light and lively. Understated; lemon, lime, pineapple, green melon, white peach, honeysuckle a little cut grass, soft chalkiness & minerality, light saline, white & yellow flowers. Beautiful acidity and elegant, ripe, well balanced finish that persists softly in the mouth.
We also tasted his 2013 Cabernet Reserve & his 2016 Fluerfonein (sticky Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc wine) but, I didn’t have time to write notes as we had to get to another appointment. 🤷♂️ Both good and worth seeking out.

Really enjoyed this bottle. Tried the 2018 and the 2019 and this one was less fruit and more stone, mineral and soil. Long lasting, very bold tannic finish that I love. (🎥 Casino Royal) — 4 years ago

Full bodied, fruity, smooth. Changed significantly as it breathed. Good. — 7 years ago
We started our afternoon with Owner-Winemaker, Alex Starey touring his vineyard.
Afterwards, we began with his Reserve Chenin which, is produced from 48 year old vines.
The nose reveals; soft wet wool, underripe green melon, green apple with no skin, white peach, gooseberries, pineapple, lime, lemon, light herbaceous notes, very understated minerality & soft chalkiness, white spring flowers. The acidity is excellent. The ripe, lightly polish, elegant finish is right in my wheel house.
