This one was opened alongside a 2006 Aubert Reuling, and in all honesty this one was thicker, deeper, and more 'youthful' although this one really was showing some secondary notes too. The nose of this wine showed dirty raspberry, clove, and entered with a much more 'full bodied' expression. Hawthorne and lily. The middle of this wine seemed as though it wanted to go darker, but never did. I think that the best drinking time for this wine was likely 2016-17, although there is likely to be a bit of bottle variation at this point. — 8 years ago

I'm not huge on Chards but this drinks great. Toast and wood chips on the nose. Honeysuckle and pears on the palate. It's a great new world wine that drinks like an old style wine — 9 months ago
