Our first inaugural vintage as Reuling vineyard! The favorable location and microclimate of the Reuling Vineyard enabled our Pinot Noir to develop impressive density and beautiful aromatics. Harvest took place on September 30th, prior to fall rains, and a 12-day native yeast fermentation followed. The resulting wine has aromatics of exotic spice, blue and black fruits as well as a gentle minerality. On the palate this wine has incredible balance. It possesses a soft entry coupled with acidity and has a lush, broad mid-palate with a lingering smooth finish. Let us know your thoughts!

Aug 23rd, 2013Holy cow, loved this wine - even more so having gotten it from Last Bottle. Beautiful roundness with a typical, but well balanced oaky vanilla California Pinot aspect. More blueberry and cinnamon than cola, and really fat, but so enjoyable. Paired with lamb burgers with Humboldt Fog Chèvre and sage-honey butter.
