My first wine I’ve ever tasted from Moldova. Jancis Robinson reviewed it in Financial Times January 27 2023. Tasting and decanting now… purple, very good clarity. Aromas of leather (wood) and strawberry, flavors of strawberry and cherry with wood, light to moderate seed and skin tannins on finish. Light bodied but solid tannin structure. Needs at least 60 minutes to decant. 24 hours later, tasting really well, some real character. A worthy red table wine — 3 years ago

Highly drinkable beautifully balanced orange wine. Exactly the way we like it. All-star blend of Chardonnay, Gruner Veltliner, Sauvignon and a little bit of Traminer. Well structured with gastronomic appeal. Comes in cute minimagnums (1L)
Can't think of a better amber wine for the induction into the category.

Celebrating Moldova independence day. And that's a bottle for this occasion. Mature bouquet of prune, fig, chocolate, licorice, dried cherry, sweet tobacco, coffee, vanilla and clove. Powerful, kind of new world style, oaky, straightforward and not complex, but tasty mature wine.

Rosé. Like a pack of Starbursts. Juicy. Raspberry, cherry, cacao, and tropical fruit. Medium acid. — 6 years ago
Lighter bodied with lots of raspberry and cherry fruit. — 6 years ago
I love this wine. A little strong on the finish, but really what I think of when I think of Pinot Noir. — 6 years ago
Moldova's finest. My fifth or sixth vintage. Never go out of style. Rich with ripe black fruit, chocolate, leather & vanilla. — 2 years ago
Really tasty, some skin contact going on for sure with a little bit of funk. Herbal (fennel) and spice notes, wet stone, tropical fruit. Bright acidity that lingers. — 3 years ago

From magnum.
Slightly macerated blend of Gruner Veltliner, Neuburger, Sauvignon, Pálava and Riesling. This makes it an easy drinking light orange wine with muscat like aromas of rose water. Chill it properly and enjoy with food as it is exactly what Forks & Knives has been made for.

Poppy, raspberry and cranberry. Handles a bit of chill well — 6 years ago
Well, this is the first bottle I’ve opened since the beginning of COVID-19 social distancing and I’m really happy it didn’t disappoint. Really nice light body and acid, honeysuckle, stone fruit and...hay? I’m into it. — 6 years ago
Natural wine blend of Riesling Neuberger and Pinot Gries from Moravia. Delicious and intense. Balanced fruit and acidity. Good finish. — 6 years ago
Sharp, mineral, but sipable. Lots of character — 3 years ago
Citrusy nose, with some flinty notes, some flowery touches and a bit of vanilla and oak. Great stuff. The palate is very well made with a strong acid drive, a good width with lemon and lemon peel, some soft and nice mouthfeel before a long lemony and vanilla touches that last for a good while. It's a great white! — 3 years ago

Effortless drinking unpretentious red for anyone. Sold in minimagnums (1L) at a bargain price (€16). Purple colour, medium-light body. Cool blend of Pinot Noir, Blaufrankisch, and aromatic St.Laurent. Might become your favourite table wine.

Delicious even though a young wine. Very clean with hints of dark fruit. No lingering aftertastes — 5 years ago
2015. Red to blue fruits, leather, subtle acid and not-so-subtle oak come together after 3-4 hours of decanting. Young and more oak than I’d like but concentration of high-quality fruit and evident complexity should make this a knockout in 2-4 years. A real surprise. A gem from Moldova. One can compare it with some of the flagship Californian red blends. Composition: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Saperavi. — a year ago
