There are years where the fickleness of the weather prevent the even ripening of all the grapes on the bunches, and as the grapes cannot be harvested before the stems themselves fully ripen, on these years any extra ripe grapes will detach themselves from the stem while on the “table de tri”(sorting table). Since the traditional Burgundy vinification methods require the grapes to be fermented “entière” (in whole bunches) the loose berries are not used, despite being wonderfully ripe. — 4 years ago
Deep Ruby color. Dark fruit, tart with smooth, rich tannins. Bright fruit flavors, without a sugary taste. — 2 months ago
Incredible as always. I enjoy this style of wine in between light red and rich rosé. Rain is a subtle story. Forest berries compote, white pepper, pomegranate, underbrush and red flowers. Almost perfectly balanced, juicy and delicious. I would drink this wine every day. Casually.

Really fun Sauvignon Blanc - had the typical lemon zest but had harder minerals to make it fuller and fun! Bought at BP. Maybe buy again! — 10 months ago
Immediately loved this wine from first sip, my kind of Sav Blanc, great tasting and extremely affordable! I find it at Wegmans. — 4 years ago
Color of ruby, clear. Nose of fresh cranberry, milky vanilla, licorice, spice, some strawberry ice cream, tangerine, and sweet sensation. Taste of spice and zest, some backbone tannins, sweetness, and fresh grapes. Aftertaste of some more warmth in the throat. Easy to drink. A bit sweet for me. On par. — 4 years ago

2024. This year’s nouveau wine from D&G is very similar to the last two vintages that we’ve enjoyed. Slightly tart cranberry and red berry flavors. Served chilled with chicken and sausage gumbo. — a month ago
