Toulouse Vineyard Pinot Noir 2007

Really lovely. Drinking the 2007 on NYE 2023 and it's still beautiful. Bing cherry and baking spice on the nose, with more cherry, cranberry, tobacco, forest floor on the palate. Surprisingly bright for 15 years old. A great buy from K&L from a private collection. — 3 years ago

Viognier

Love the dried fruit (Black Current and fig ) to go along with blueberry. The wine exhibits both power and finesse and has a very pleasant lingering finish — 4 years ago

EXP Dunnigan Hills Syrah 1998

Aged and in a magnum. What a fancy bottle. Joy to try this. Hint of rust red on the edge of the color. Nose is cherry cordial and herbs. Sage, marjoram, fresh wood. Flavors are lovely. Still has zip. Herbal. Lush. Complex. This is lovely aged Syrah. Has a bit of mystery and is nicely aged. — 5 months ago

Zinfandel 2022

This is enjoyable in a massive CA overripe wine style! There’s a good amount of all the peppers, bell, jalapeños, white, cracked black, huge amount of purple/black fruit. Jan. Vanilla and some woodsy notes. I’d drink again. — 9 months ago

Oakdale Road Willow Creek District Paso Robles Zinfandel 2020

The label has a nice tree on it. That seems to be a thing for the labels down there in Paso. Bottle is heavy duty for aging I guess. 5 year old Zin qualifies as aged no doubt. Cool is classic CA Zin with bright red and a hint of rusty edge. Nose has that jammy and pie crust aroma expected in Zinfandel from warm spots. Flavors are chewy and dense. There is that smoked cherry cordial deal there, but also some roasted red peppers and salted fruit flavored licorice. bar-b-qued pork ribs. This is excellent Zin. A classic representation of the good ones. — a year ago
