Does perfume mean "shit my grandma sprayed on before church"?? Gross. But it has that - however I'd call it "butterscotch coffee table treat + lilac "that bitch is stinky but better than grandma's cigarettes" in terms of nose. Also the nose fucks my macerated pear bussy. Giving me cobbler vibes - Hallélooh! In terms of tongue, she sits like a mineral princess on a southern porch swing - green apple and green grape with a micro green or basil down-played bitch slap to make me comfortable being THAT BITCH! Love the varietal just not sure about this wine is the penultimate expression. Takes some time to open up but once flowered it’s nice. A bit fruity but not overly so which is a plus for me. Smooth with a nice finish. — 6 years ago

OMG!!! If you’re lucky enough to own one of these (or are super lucky to own a case) drink it! It’s at its prime or just past - amazing structure and balance. Beautiful young fruits and acid on the front, amazingly long in the mid (like watch-a-movie long) and an expected, but rarely fulfilled finish and mouthfeel! This is an exceptional bottle and if anyone on here feels they have a few too many in their collection I’ll gladly make it worth your while to taste this Victorian princess again!!! — 6 years ago

Herbal aromas (typically Margaret River) with Geranium Capsicum and a touch of menthol. Some green notes - medium weight. Savoury wins out over Cassis and black fruits. Not in the upper echelon of Margaret River Cabernet. Just a silver medal. We went to the Cellar Door some years ago and the story goes that the Reserve Cab was served at the wedding of Prince Frederick of Denmark to Sydney Real Estate agent Mary Donaldson originally from Tasmania now Crown Princess Mary and one day will become the Queen of Denmark. Fred is a keen sailor who was representing Denmark at the Sydney Olympics in 2000 and they met at Sydney hotspot The Slip Inn where Fred was flashing his Black AMEX so the story goes and was captivated by Mary and the rest is history. — 7 years ago

Our princess turned 16 today so what better way to celebrate with one of the best BdB available (one of the few we like actually). Slightly oxidative, bruized apples, brioche, limezest. Mouth full!! Long finish!
