I really enjoyed this!
Dark, thick wine where you can really taste the Syrah and tannins. Spicy and full of fruit. Paired very nice with prosciutto wrapped chicken. Definitely young with many years left in it! Not bad at the restaurant list price of £50. — 3 months ago
Great chianti classico. A Leather and a plum - they form a harmonious combination. Maybe the tannins are too strong for my taste, but it's no problem. — 4 months ago
Poggio al Tesoro is located in the admired area of Bolgheri, an appellation situated in the upper part of Tuscany’s Maremma, south of Pisa and just two miles from the Tyrrhenian Sea. Pale lemon with aromas of fresh stone and tropical fruits accompanied by floral tones and light citrus notes. On the palate tangy peach, melon and lemon flavors, crisp, surrounded by nutty spice. Medium body this wine finished with a gentle touch of savory mineral. Tasting Sample. — 12 days ago
Right and little it soured. — 3 months ago
Second time having this, but a different vintage. Full bodied. The colour is purple... electric. Very big. Needs some time to mellow out. — 7 days ago
Trader Joe’s for about $12. Surprisingly smooth. Great value! — 15 days ago
Loved this, especially low tannins vs other Cabs. Would definitely buy again. — 4 months ago
