Great food-friendly, bubbly, refreshing acid. Perfect with pizza. — a month ago
Appropriately named as we served this estate’s rosso at our wedding and I suppose it’s therefore “in the blood” at this point. Dark, earthy, complex and alluring, violets, raspberry, subtle woodsmoke and dried underbrush. Smooth but firm structurally. I buy it whenever I can and it will hold and improve — a year ago

Light and delicate, fruit forward, uncomplicated and easy drinking. — 8 months ago
Leather, raspberry, cacao, roasted coffee beans and underbrush. Wave after wave, this keeps getting more impressive. At the beginning of its drinking window. Barbera is such a great grape! Will keep for at least 5 years to come. One of the best qpr’s I’ve tasted so far. — 2 years ago
Poderi garona tritone rosso
Exactly the kind of wine people erroneously pass up because it is inexpensive and assumedly not great. I’m having sausage and peppers tonight. And I passed over 2 cases of Barolo to drink this with my s&p .
Nose is pretty and slight.
Palate is delicious fruit. Great acidity. Grapy. So awesome.
Bought from fass selections.

Another excellent vintage! Bright ruby color. Aromas and flavors of crushed stone, ripe black cherry/currants, blackberry, plums, exotic spices, red and purple flowers, forest floor and balsamic vinegar. Long and savory finish. So complex. Ripe and tight tannins and well balanced acidity. Consistently excellent. — a month ago
