Poderi garona tritone rosso
Exactly the kind of wine people erroneously pass up because it is inexpensive and assumedly not great. I’m having sausage and peppers tonight. And I passed over 2 cases of Barolo to drink this with my s&p .
Nose is pretty and slight.
Palate is delicious fruit. Great acidity. Grapy. So awesome.
Bought from fass selections.

Great! Lots of fruit and enjoyed this blend. — 12 years ago
It's fruity and has depth. I don't really taste the tannins in the prosciutto wrap. — 2 months ago
Leather, raspberry, cacao, roasted coffee beans and underbrush. Wave after wave, this keeps getting more impressive. At the beginning of its drinking window. Barbera is such a great grape! Will keep for at least 5 years to come. One of the best qpr’s I’ve tasted so far. — 5 years ago

Fantastic 100% Sangiovese from first night of bike trip — 11 years ago
Appropriately named as we served this estate’s rosso at our wedding and I suppose it’s therefore “in the blood” at this point. Dark, earthy, complex and alluring, violets, raspberry, subtle woodsmoke and dried underbrush. Smooth but firm structurally. I buy it whenever I can and it will hold and improve — 3 years ago
