Like the Keller Von der Fels, we've got a GG-killer over here. According to Pinard de Picard, this is the second most sought after Riesling in Germany, after the VdF of course, and I can definitely see why. It's intense and concentrated, yet super fine. Aromas of tangerine, lemon drops, white flowers, smoke, wet stones, and nutmeg. The palate's a little more forgiving than previous encounters with Julian's wines. Nice fruit richness, but don't get me wrong, the acidity's still the trademark enamel-stripping kind. Really enjoyed this wine, but the best thing is it's price. Such great value! — 7 years ago

Great sauv blanc. Beguiling honeysuckle and green tropical fruit, pear, kiwi. Very generous, comparatively round and textured for Sancerre but still high acid. This will age well.
Unsurprisingly, even better on day 2. A riot of fruit aroma.
