A very spicy Bierzo, great summer quaffer🇪🇸 — 6 months ago
This was trockenbeerenauslese really unctuous and long. Roasted apricot. Nectar. — 8 months ago
One of my favourite Malbec producers prior to changing winemakers. This is a big,”in your face” juicy wine that remains well structured and balanced. Begins with ripe dark plums, blackberries, blueberries and cassis. Notes of stewed dark fruit. Hints of dark chocolate and vanilla followed by anise, and soft cooking spices. The tannins are medium and long lasting. Plush, elegant and smooth finish. Served with home made butter chicken. 15% alcohol. — 9 months ago
Needs to breathe a bit but very good! — a month ago
This wine has me trippin. Someone on here mentioned motor oil on pavement—check! And pencil lead. And bitter herbs. And some dried fruit. And lavender. And the the taste of someone starting a V8 engine. And it’s chewy. And dry. And it hits you big but finishes long and elegant but rough around the edges (like I dunno, a Vivienne Westwood or Rick Owens leather jacket). And most importantly, it all weirdly works beautifully.
