This is a really well made wine and a cracking intro and beyond to Ortega for anyone interested in checking out a new grape. Burgundian-esque brand styling gives some indicator about the nature of the contents, but really this is no Chardonnay. Genuinely exciting stuff from this small output, high quality English producer. Try this wine!

May 7th, 2017Very dry and crisp. Reminded me of a Sauvignan blanc.. Although I prefered the fruitier non barel fermented one I had.

Dec 26th, 2016Non-barel fermented English ortega. Reminded me of a Marlborough sauv blanc.. Bold, bone dry, racy, sharp goosberries initially but then a smooth finish. Been keeping it 4 or 5 months for Christmas.
