Full bodied wine with cherry & cassis. Spicy finish! Delish! — 4 years ago
This stuff is dangerous. Smooth, light on the tongue, but not simple. A light gold color, some kind of melon note and vanilla flavors. Great at this price; points for cost/benefit ratio. At Cory's in the freezing cold. — 5 years ago
The Castle does not disappoint. Lavish yourself with this wine. — 7 years ago
Cherry and spice, just like the label says. Great balance. This one is out of the park. — 8 years ago
Clean apple flavor with a funk on the end. If you haven't gotten on board the dry cider wine train, you need to start here. — 9 years ago
Palatable wine for the price. Paired well with sausage ragout served to friends. — 6 months ago

Visit the castle, take in the Tuscan views, taste the wine. This Chianti is the essence of its place, sublime. — 8 years ago

Tasted blind, presented by Sue Bell. I picked Riesling, Australian and missed Porongurups WA. A brilliant Riesling made by Rob Diletti at Castle Rock WA. Lovely aromatics of Musk and Bath Talc. At 5 years the acid had settled and the citrus was going towards stone fruit. Really enjoyed this. — 5 years ago
Cherry, strawberry and fine tannin. Good balance. From the Great Southern — 8 years ago

Classic cab. Affordable at about $10. — 9 years ago
Non-barel fermented English ortega. Reminded me of a Marlborough sauv blanc.. Bold, bone dry, racy, sharp goosberries initially but then a smooth finish. Been keeping it 4 or 5 months for Christmas. — 9 years ago
