The 2008 Produttori Del Barbaresco Asili is a treat! What a lovely wine. Intense, deep and complex. I should have probably kept this in the EuroCave (equivalent) until I can afford the premium branded wine fridge. Fun to drink this al fresco in NoMad at La Pecora Bianca, where a series of unfortunate mistakes led to the restaurant generously covering most of the tab. — 8 years ago
Rich, round and intense while also showing great focus and purity. Showing really excellent now with minimal reduction, great power, concentration and precision. The ripe vintage is definitely evident, but there is just enough cut to keep it all in balance. And the balance and focus becomes even more evident as it unfurls in the glass and in the decanter. Ripe stone fruits, lemon-lime, white flowers, exotic spice and a touch of honeysuckle. Mineral infused finish with great length and tension. Dancer is a true star in Burgundy and I’m glad to find it on the terrific wine list at The NoMad Hotel! — 4 years ago

At NoMad, super yummy! The viscosity changed the more it opened. Enjoyed much more than the 1998 consumed at L'Artusi — 7 years ago
Bought this at the winery on a whim, mostly because the idea of a Franc Blanc was such a novelty. Wish I’d bought a case. A lovely, versatile white wine, capable of holding up with lots of food. — 5 years ago
1/5. Corkage at the Nomad. Medium /light gold. Slightly viscous. On the richer end of spectrum. Dried citrus, spice, not a ton of cut left. Not quite as persistent and long as the last time a tried this. But a very fine bottle nonetheless. Drink. — 7 years ago
Mamma Guidara Dinner at NoMad. Fruit forward with sweet tannins. Flavors of red cherry and mint throughout the long finish. — 7 years ago

Peach, apple, touch of reduction. Shows warmth of vintage but still transparently Roulot. Decently priced on the lost at Nomad in London — 2 years ago
