Recommended by the Houston Costco wine stocker as a very popular wine. Not complex but palatable for the under $15 price. — 6 years ago
Recommend by Nina at Cork & Bottle, Puerto Vallarta. Easy green pepper nose The wine is just as easy drinking of a red blend as there could be. She was talking up the Mexican wine quality and why wouldn’t she? This is my first go at a the country’s stuff. She says most of the stuff these guys make isn’t all that good but this is an exception. Supposedly the are a large producer, doing a lot of things with varying degrees of success. Well I like this one and you can bet I’m going to see Nina for some more recommendations for Mexican wine. $3,600 pesos paired with 9.20.90. — 8 years ago

Lighter, acidic, fruitier white. Drank with Nina and Michael over Thai in Tahoe. Nate liked a lot. — 9 years ago
Mellow red, not too heavy. Good spice. Had it with grilled green olives. Love the cat on the bottle. — 10 months ago
Recently, I received word from Nina Buty (pronounced: Beauty) that she is closing down her family’s winery. Sad news, indeed. Buty had long been one of my favorite Walla Walla makers. Her reds are amazing, and her Bordeaux-style white blend is top-notch, too. Long lasting flavors of ripe peach, crisp apple and lemon zest, along with a note of grassiness are all rounded and balanced in this delicious white wine. It pairs so well with fish, salads and light cheeses. Easy and drink and to love. — 4 years ago

"Odedi"
Dark ruby/ Inky in color, with a wide reddish rim.
Fruity nose of red fruits with light wood, spices, coffee, dark chocolates, light earth and herbs.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with raspberries, cherries, plums, light oak, spices, milk chocolates, tobacco, licorice, light herbs and peppercorn.
Nice length on the finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a delicious 10 years old Syrah from Washington State. Elegant and rich, fruit forward and smooth. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel. Complex and interesting.
Very typical to the Terroir, which is nice to see. The alcohol is nicely integrated by now.
I had this vintage 5 years ago and it is drinking much better now. Drinking at its peak, and will continue to drink nicely in the next few years.
Good right out of the bottle, and better with airtime.
A great sipping wine that will also pair nicely with food.
A blend of 94% Syrah with 6% Viognier. Aged in (20% new) French Oak barrels for 19 months.
14.1% alcohol by volume.
92 points.
