Continuing my love affair with New Zealand Chardonnays even if only a glass with 6 Pacific Oysters fresh from Port Douglas at lunch today. Pale Lemon in colour Leesy Lemon Citrus aromas with traces of vanilla oak. More fulsome on the palate than the nose would indicate. Very Good. At Gerard’s Bistro Brisbane. — 3 years ago
Tasted this beauty of an age released Pinot gris over looking the Marlborough Sounds from a buddies batch, sitting next to two gorgeous French girls and a meat, cheese, and olive platter fit for a Prince. Dunno if this skewed my vote but it could be the best P.G. ever produced. ^^ — 6 years ago
Pretty good for a Chardonnay - more sauv blanc like probably due to where it’s from. Light and crisp, not too fruity — 2 months ago
I love this absolutely smashing wine. Elegant, balanced and wonderfully harmonious. Melon, baked apple, pineapple with lemon drizzle cake. Buttery hazelnuts, toast and caramelised banana.
Still medium bodied and very guzzleable. — 6 months ago

Oak shows in it's aromas, restrained oak. Beautiful fruit characters matching the lively acidity. Minerality lingering on the finish. — 6 years ago
Texture but still zippy, lemon curd and vanilla cream pie and a touch of green apple. Well done — 4 years ago
Beautiful balance between fruit and oak, a subtle richness backed up by a beautiful lengthy finish. — 4 years ago

Fantastic nose - dark and brooding. Started watery but then put on bulk with air. Decent pinot. Quite burgundian. Buy again below $40 — a month ago
