Deep purple color fading to black in the center of the glass. Floral nose with spices and black fruits and a hint of smoke. Black cherries with plums and spices laced with a hint of vanilla. Well integrated oak announcing tannins that have arrived to maturity. The tasting notes for 2023 were very accurate as to where this vintage was heading and I’m glad I have 2 more bottles. Next one will be served with the lamb or dry aged prime rib this wine deserves. — 3 months ago

Thick, chewy, full bodied Douro, heavy taste of black cherry and slightly smoky. — 3 months ago
This wine lives up to its name. Big, rich wine. Delightfully compliments and enhances food spices. Enjoyed with roasted duck with pomegranate and Turkish spice glaze. — 4 months ago
Bright and refreshing rose - California by way of Portuguese grapes. Red berries (currant, raspberry) and short-ish but clean finish. Great deal at $15/bottle. Nice with manchego and duck prosciutto. — 7 months ago

Colour is very pale with just the lightest hint of coral pink. It’s off-dry with lots of ripe tropical fruits on the noise and palate - cantaloupe, peach, and a hint of floral. It’s a very interesting blend of grapes. — 3 days ago
