Pineapple, sea breeze, green apple, faint oak. Zippy and high acid especially for a CA chardonnay. Tropical fruit, green apple, yellow apple with some distant oak and ML flavors.

Lovely dark maroon color. Smells hearty. Lots of plum and some mineral oil, dark flower essence. Flavors are nice. Leather, cherry Coke, molasses. Plenty of acid snap and strong tannins. Rich and full bodied. Nice beefy red. — 4 years ago
