13.9% alc. "Henry's Blend".
35% Cab. Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 13% Petit Verdot, 13% Cab. Franc and 5% Malbec.
Thrown in with misc. Bordeaux and Napa wines in a blind tasting, this was mind boggling good!!
I'm almost ashamed to admit that I blind-guessed this as 1998 Ch. Mouton Rothschild. — 9 years ago
Negrette, cab franc, misc blend. Long carbonic maceration. Good grip and tension, with appealing reductive notes. Drinks like Hervé Souhat Syrah/gamay.

Clear medium dark with little color fade. Medium body with round, rich integrated black fruit and just enough acidity to liven the mouthfeel. Notes of saddle leather, pencil lead, and misc. dark berries and Asian spice. Wine is drinking well and at a nice window. — 4 years ago
Smells of blueberry/misc berries, cross between old and new world with blueberry boysenberry, some chalk, moderate acids and tannins — 5 years ago

You love “sour” beers… or you hate them. I adore them with a meal… and this one zooms directly to the top of my list. Beautiful balance between sour and ripe, bright fruit. Round ripe sweet blueberries knocked me out… pomegranate notes lean towards misc citrus. And the vanilla rings through the finish. Not overly sour, but nearly perfect. Must find more…. — 2 years ago
