Mild aroma of plums. Big tart jammy plums up front with a dry tannic finish. At West Central Wine. β 7 years ago
Certainly no uncertainty about this triple-county sourced Cabernet Sauvignon certainly being, without any falsity, positively being a great wine to center this sentence around. β 7 years ago
v12. Outstanding! Decant. Nice candied, soft cedar nose. Deep, rich, blackberry and slight plum fruit. Long, smooth, slightly astringent, bold, dry, leather finish. Very nice wine! β 6 months ago
One of my favorite California winemakers this wine is so incredibly smooth, complex and delicious β 6 years ago
Great fruit and oak balance β 7 years ago
Dark transparent ruby purple in the glass. Nose of blueberry-plum cobbler. Fruity palate of blueberries, blackberries, vanilla cream. Medium tannins and medium plus acidity. Excellent chameleon of a wine just as at home with burgers on the grill (or in the sack from Checkers) as with prime rib. The Coro Mendocino gang is onto something -- as evidenced by homage ventures like the Outer Coastal Plain's "Coeur dβEst" blend -- and we American wine drinkers should support it. β 8 years ago
Had this lovely, smooth wine at The Kitchen per Wendyβs recommendation. Sadly, it is no longer available. β 9 months ago
Nice Mendicino Cab. Dark ruby color. Intense nose of black cherry and vanilla cream. The very busy pallet includes dark cherries and currants with hints of cocoa, tobacco, baking spices and that ever present vanilla. Soft but rich at the same time. The finish just goes on and on. Aged 26 months in French Oak. Also a great value! Appreciate you sharing this one, Kase! β 2 years ago
