Agiorgitiko Mavroudi blend
Nose: vanilla, black raspberries, fig jam, stewed plum, nutmeg
Taste: raspberries, cherries, violets?, nutmeg
Low-medium tannin, acidity could be brighter, but altogether lovely and complex. Could do with some age, though — 2 years ago
Quite deep ruby , garnet rim . Spicy , earthy , dark plum , cherry, cassis . On the palate dark fruits , cassis , plum , cherry with grafite and some wood spices , slightly sweet fruited finish . Nice balanced acidity and rounded but noticeable tannins . Very alive . Now and over the next 5-8 years . @ sexyfish London — 7 months ago
Really nice. Light, strawberry, w grapefruit, grapefruit pith, watermelon. Refreshing, perfect summer drinking — 2 years ago
Pretty tasty. Medium bodied. It’s like a cote du Rhône. — a year ago

Some excellent tastes of strawberries on this dry and complex rose. Great blend of 3 indigenous Greek grapes - 50% Xinomavro – 30% Limniona – 20% Mavroudi. — 4 years ago

High novelty factor. Tannins and acid still hanging around which leads me to believe it was fairly big and unruly in its youth. Smooth and earthy, evolved fruit. Maybe a bit pruney but I find this typical of Greek reds. Paired wonderfully with spicy pasta bolognese. — 2 months ago
