Agiorgitiko Mavroudi blend
Nose: vanilla, black raspberries, fig jam, stewed plum, nutmeg
Taste: raspberries, cherries, violets?, nutmeg
Low-medium tannin, acidity could be brighter, but altogether lovely and complex. Could do with some age, though — 3 years ago
Smooth and full-bodied — 2 months ago
Pretty tasty. Medium bodied. It’s like a cote du Rhône. — a year ago
Some excellent tastes of strawberries on this dry and complex rose. Great blend of 3 indigenous Greek grapes - 50% Xinomavro – 30% Limniona – 20% Mavroudi. — 5 years ago
Vintage 2019 | Venison steak with mashed carrots. What to pair with it? I had six bottles in my hands and decided this Greek wine from six years old. When young you often do not know what to expect from a wine, the older you get the more you get a trained taste and can choose safe choices. But I like the surprises and the fact I am not aware what to expect. This red has a rich nose with cedar (6 m barrel aging), chocolate and spices. Cherries in taste with a hint of raspberries, quite strong ánd still quaffable. Chocolate in taste too. It makes my day. Fine website from producer but it does not give the grape variety (mavrodaphne?). — 4 months ago
Really nice. Light, strawberry, w grapefruit, grapefruit pith, watermelon. Refreshing, perfect summer drinking — 3 years ago

Earthy nose. Bright, with dark fruit with a spicy finish. Well matched opposites in a really nice, fun wine. 2014 vintage. — 5 days ago
