Nose is spice and green pepper. Pepper goes away with air. Replaced by black pepper.
Palate is huge hit of spice. Incredibly fresh hand crushed wild blackberries. Super delicious. Amazing silky texture. Spice integrates with air. Amazing entry level wine. More perfect mid season cherry with air. Cherry pit as well.

Nose has a bit of poop. Mostly blows off with air.
Palate is grippy blackberry fruit. Quite young.
Let’s see where this goes
As it opens sort of an Aglianico version of good dolcetto. Sweet fruit. Great spice. Not super complex. — 3 years ago
BlackBerry, red peppercorn and hint of licorice. — 6 months ago
Outstanding San Marino wine — 7 months ago
Really a mind expanding wine. Would never have guessed Aglianico or 2008 or 15%. Quite herby and earthy but with some core of fruit too - long finish with good acid. Lovely mouthfeel as well. And a great pairing with Marcella Hazan’s long cooked bolognese. — 2 years ago

Fantastic. Such a solid red. Approachable. Bright with berry but with that volcanic edge. — 4 days ago
