Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2023

20223 vintage. Medium body. Dark fruit mated with grip. Good balance with a modicum of richness at the start. Resto cost $15 a bottle on 3 cases. This is easily the most ridiculous, cheap chicken, Napa Cab offer I've come across in a decade. Word in the barrel room is that this is declassified juice from a major Cabernet player/participant that can't be tied into this effort. Tasted their Sauvignon Blanc (and I intently dislike SB) as well and it rocked for a similar price. Approx 5k cases of this Cab made so you might actually come across it. if you do, grab a case. 03.21.25. — 8 days ago

Chenoweth Vineyard Chardonnay 2017

Very delicious and multi dimensional chardonnay. Croissant, pineapple, pear, marshmallow, and lemon. Good acidity too. You have to like Chardonnay to like this wine. Not for the ABC crowd. — 4 years ago

Winemakers' Cellar Dry Creek Valley Chardonnay 2018

First thing: much earthier than I anticipated. Don’t get me wrong, there’s plenty of ripe fruit: lemon 🍋, pineapple 🍍, and apricot 🍑. But before the fruit, there’s smoky minerality 💨 and dried thyme 🌱 followed by hazelnut. 🌰

Delicious. Not as good after a day, drink it all the day it’s opened. — 3 months ago

Bear Crossing Knight Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

Solid, well-made Cabernet Sauvignon. Strong and bold but not overwhelming. Deep, brooding fruit. Not remarkable but a reasonable purchase at $53. — 10 months ago

Juniper Estate

Juniper Crossing Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2017

Bought this as an afterthought and quite pleased that I did. It's complex and rich, with blackcurrant/plum fruit, cedary oak and soft tannins all on the same page. Great value. — 4 years ago
